Her Beginners Guide to Meat-Based Eating has been truly helpful to me in my transition from a horrible diet, keeping me well over my normal weight. Since starting the Animal Based diet less than two weeks ago, I've lost 9 lbs. I've lost most of my cravings for breads, pastas and sweets. My husband used to call me "Chips" as that would always be the first thing I reached for when getting home from work. Now, I haven't had a chip, popcorn, piece of chocolate, cookie or ice cream since starting this diet. I've had arthritis pain in my right hand and left hip. During this short time, the pain in my hand is completely gone, and the pain in my hip is almost gone. When walking for exercise with my husband, instead of him always having to wait for me, I'm now keeping up with him or having to wait on him to catch up to me! I'm truly looking forward to everything else this diet will do for me.
