CHANGE

YOU ARE HERE BECAUSE YOU WANT A

You are here in your search for achieving good health and wellbeing. You are tired of filtering through hundreds of pages of online content that may or may not be relevant to your goals. You have a sense that this is diet and/or lifestyle related, but you can’t quite pinpoint it exactly.

You are resilient and refuse to believe that struggling with conditions such as low energy, skin problems, mood instability, low libido, stubborn fat, autoimmune issues, diabetes, infertility, and imbalanced hormones is something you have to suffer with for the rest of your life.

I’ve been on that same journey for 20+ years.

I’ve struggled, I’ve researched, I’ve tried over and over again, experienced failure, limited success and break-throughs.

I’ve done the research, tried opposing philosophies, and engaged those researchers to challenge them and learn from them.

My life-long commitment to nourishment, restoring health and wellness led me to discovering the most optimal way of feeding the human body — animal based.  Since transitioning to an animal based diet 3 years ago, I have seen a substantial impact on my health, nutrition, energy, and overall mental clarity.

From all the methods and strategies I’ve experimented with personally, those that have worked for me and where I have seen the most success, are the ones I’ve recommended to others and seen similar successes. In the cases where the results were not as expected, I studied why and modulated the solution to fit that person’s physiology or needs and requirements.

It’s not a job, it’s my passion and my obsession.

ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL.

Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control & indomitable spirit

… the tenets I have lived by since I was five years old.

I grew up surrounded by athletes, health professionals, and those in the fitness and wellness industries. An athlete and Martial Artist since the age of 5, I am a National All-Around State Gymnastics Champion, Self Defense Martial Arts State Champion, certified Ashtanga Yoga Instructor, and first-degree black belt in Hapkido. With a combined 27 years in teaching and training, I have learned, observed, researched, and practiced different methods in nutrition and performance.

One question drives me: how can one build, hone, expand and thrive with physical and emotional resilience? It is in my blood to push people to be stronger, to push people past their limiting beliefs and to push people into territory that allows for expansion and growth in a positive way.

MY HEALTH JOURNEY

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at the age of 18 only through my own persistence. Doctors would throw medications at me before identifying the exact problem. My stubbornness in refusing medication led me down a path to truly navigate and dig into the root cause of my symptoms — my diet.

I practice what I preach, which is often rare to find in the medical community. My years of navigating health and wellness led me to developing 6-week programs designed to address nutrition and physical fitness tailored to client goals and optimal health. I worked closely with trusted holistic doctors and experts in these programs to address and interpret comprehensive blood exams and intolerance testing to create better health practices.

I took my passion for health one step further and founded a food business that focused on whole food nourishment. After 3 years in the industry, I became fluent in reading and interpreting the ingredients, labels, certifications and federal requirements.

I’m not a doctor and this is not medical advice. I never went the academic route, however, with a life-long commitment to health and a degree in journalism, I’ve blended my passion for wellness with my research techniques. With a burning desire to heal myself, I prioritized the journey of science and discovery over mainstream modalities. I took my years as an athlete and deep experimentation, and combined it with research gathered from studies, progressive thinkers and experiential health experts to create my own unique philosophy and balanced approach.

Perhaps my greatest credential is my relentless dedication, pursuit of truth and commitment to my own health. I prioritize health and encourage those to prioritize theirs. It’s not a job, it’s my obsession.
